Head-on collisions are some of the most catastrophic crashes possible on American roads. According to findings from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), these accidents have a nearly 56 percent fatality rate, considerably higher than most crash categories. Despite making up less than 2 percent of reported auto accidents nationwide, nearly 10 percent of traffic deaths involve head-on impacts. These crashes are often caused by reckless drivers who veer into oncoming traffic. If you lose someone close to you in a deadly accident, you need to partner with a qualified personal injury lawyer in order to pursue compensation and justice.

A deadly car accident is often unexpected, and in a matter of seconds, someone close to you can be taken forever.
