Cullman, AL – Florida Man Dies in Dump Truck Crash on AL-157

Cullman, AL (April 1, 2024) – A Florida man was killed following a two-vehicle crash in the Cullman area on Friday, March 29. The deadly crash was reported on AL-157 near State Crusher Road that afternoon around 2 p.m. Local reports revealed that a passenger car collided with a dump truck on the highway. 

Emergency crews were quickly dispatched after being notified of the crash in order to render the necessary medical aid. The dump truck reportedly fled the scene. No information on the make, model, or driver is currently available. The driver of the car suffered fatal injuries and was later pronounced dead. The deceased victim was later identified as 42-year-old Brenton Weaver of Naples, FL. No further information on the deadly crash is currently available. An ongoing investigation into the cause of the accident is being managed by local law enforcement officials.
